A big pot of cash could change someone’s life as the Oz Lotto jackpot hits $25 million.
Oz Lotto could crown its third millionaire this year on Tuesday if one or more Aussies win division one.
So far this year, there have only been two Oz Lotto division one winners – a couple from Western Australia who won $30 million in February and a Victorian winner who also won $30 million in March.
The game hasn’t seen a division one winner during the past four weeks, prompting the jackpot to climb higher.
The Lott’s Matt Hart said he was eager to see if another Oz Lotto millionaire would be created this week.
“We haven’t seen an Oz Lotto jackpot of $25 million since October 2019,” he said. On that occasion, the division one prize wasn’t won, sending it soaring for the following week’s draw. Will we see history repeat itself this week?
“We’ll be standing by immediately after the draw ready to contact any registered division one winners.”

The WA couple who won in February took home Western Australia’s biggest win since March 2016.
The winners were from Perth’s northern suburbs, who purchased their ticket from Major Luck Lottery Centre in Clarkson.
The cool, calm and collected couple said they were still completely stunned by the news.
“We’ve had a sleepless night and are still getting our heads around it all,” they said the morning after the multi-million-dollar win.
In 2020, there were 24 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across Australia, collectively winning more than $234 million.
