A man had a close call in Melbourne last week when a ute almost hit his brand new Lamborghini.
Mark Trueno was driving his luxury sports car when he stopped at a give way sign behind a Toyota HiLux. The driver behind the ute reversed to give himself more room and nearly hit the $384,000 vehicle. The incident was recorded on Mr Trueno’s dashcam – which he has since uploaded to TikTok.
“Holy sh*t!” he is heard yelling in the footage after the near-miss.
The video shows the two men then pulling over up the road to check their cars.
“I wasn’t certain if it touched [the Lamborghini],” he says in the video.
Luckily, the ute’s tow bar was higher than the expensive car and went over the hood.
Mr Trueno can be seen in the video relieved his new car was not damaged.
“[I was] so relieved,” he says in the video. “This was one of the first times I had driven the car.”
Both drivers are seen shaking hands, getting back into their cars and driving away.
Footage of the encounter was uploaded to TikTok and has been viewed more than 235,000 times.
“Not gonna lie, my heart skipped a beat or two,” he captioned the video.
