It has been announced that Dragon Ball FighterZ Patch 1.32 will be released tomorrow. However, it has also been noted that the netcode beta rollback for Dragon Ball FighterZ is delayed.
According to the developers of Dragon Ball FighterZ, the adjustments made in tomorrow’s patch are based on how things have changed since the last balance patch in June 2022. Furthermore, the team confirmed that they are hearing the voices that have been spoken. In regards to the balance of Dragon Ball FighterZ since the last patch.
Unfortunately, there are currently no published patch notes. However, we should expect the patch notes to be posted tonight or tomorrow.
Notably, the creators have also disclosed that a new balance patch is forthcoming. The current set of adjustments will be closely examined by the developers to see how they will impact the meta for Dragon Ball FighterZ, which will launch tomorrow.
Of course, it’s disappointing to hear that the Rollback Netcode beta is delayed, given that the Evo 2023 is due in August. This means that some players may not have favorable conditions to prepare for a major event.
Last but not least, it has been mentioned that the 2023–2024 Dragon Ball FighterZ globe tour would begin at Evo 2023. Check out the full developer statement below:
From Dragon Ball FighterZ Team
Today we’d like to announce that the balance patch announced in March, [ver. 1.32] will be released continuously from May 23 (UTC). Please note that delivery times will vary across platforms.
In addition to the general balance adjustments made last June, adjustments will be made based on the playability of the game following feedback we’ve received from the community. We hope you use this opportunity to get to know both characters you are familiar with, as well as those you haven’t worked with in the past.
We would also like to note that we are planning a second round of rebalancing based on the results of this round. Details will be announced in the near future, so we hope players stay tuned for more information.
In regards to implementing the fallback netcode, earlier this year we announced that we would be running beta tests on Steam this spring. However, in order to further improve and stabilize the operation of this facility, we have decided to postpone the testing time.
We apologize for the delay, but our team is committed to providing the best possible experience for this feature, so we hope players will wait a bit for further updates regarding beta timings.
Finally, we would like to officially announce that the 2023-2004 World Tour will begin with this year’s Evo! As in previous seasons, we are planning a tournament format that will support community-organized tournaments. Details will be announced soon, so please join us for this exciting contest!
The entire Dragon Ball FighterZ team is committed to making the game more enjoyable for everyone. Thanks again for your continued support.
