A woman is dead after a boat capsized in waters off Melbourne’s west.
The 62-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man were out in a small boat when it overturned about 2.45pm on Saturday, Victoria Police said.
Another vessel pulled the St Albans pair from the water off Werribee South and rushed them to shore.
But despite the efforts of paramedics the woman died at the scene.
The man was not injured and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
