A two-year-old boy is fighting for life after being hit by a car in Sydney’s western suburbs on Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to Fairfield Hospital at 4.10pm after the “seriously injured” child was taken there for treatment.
Police say it’s believed the boy was hit by a vehicle on Nelson Street in Fairfield Heights.
Officers are speaking with the driver, who is known to the child, and an investigation is underway.
The child is being transferred to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a critical condition.
