Emergency services are desperately searching for a teenage boy feared to have drowned while swimming at a reserve in Sydney’s southwest.
NSW Police, Fire and Rescue and paramedics were on the scene at Keith Longhurst Reserve in Kentlyn, near Campbelltown, on Wednesday afternoon.
A Fire and Rescue spokesman said there were reports the teenage boy was swimming in the Kentlyn Basin along with friends when he went missing.
A spokeswoman for NSW Ambulance said the boy, believed to be 15, jumped off a cliff into the water but did not resurface.
Crews were called to the scene about 2.30pm to begin the search.
A police helicopter was circling above the water to aid divers.
More to come.
