LAPD releases description of suspects

[ad_1]

The Los Angeles Police Department has released a description of the two men who shot Lady Gaga’s dog walker and stole two of her beloved French bulldogs.

Both of the suspects are described as black males, between the ages of 20 and 25, who were seen in a white Nissan Altima with four doors, cops said in a Thursday night news release.

The suspect who shot the dog walker, Ryan Fischer, 39, was armed with a semiautomatic handgun, has blond dreadlocks and was wearing a black hoodie, police said.

The second suspect was wearing dark clothing, cops said.

Mr Fischer, described by Gaga’s father Joe Germanotta as a “friend” who “risked his life protecting” the dogs, was walking the celebrity pets on North Sierra Bonita Avenue near Sunset Boulevard Wednesday night around 9.40pm when he was ambushed by the suspects.

They demanded he turn over the dogs and when Mr Fischer put up a fight, he was shot in the chest, cops said.

The suspects made off with two of the pups, Gustav and Koji, while Miss Asia got away and has since been returned to Gaga’s team.

Mr Fischer was in stable condition late Thursday and has been moved out of the ICU, according to police and Mr Germanotta.

An LAPD spokesperson said the investigation is being handled by the department’s elite Robbery Homicide Division and detectives are currently out canvassing the area for surveillance video.

They asked the public to get in touch if they have any information.

The pooches have since been recovered safely after a mystery woman brought them in to the LAPD’s Olympic Community Police Station.

According to Captain Jonathan Tippett, commanding officer of the elite Robbery-Homicide Division, the woman appears to be “uninvolved and unassociated” with Wednesday night’s attack.

Gaga’s representatives confirmed the identity of the dogs while she remained in Rome for filming.
