Tension is brewing among the I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here contestants.
Tuesday night’s episode sees Jack Vidgen come to blows with Pettifleur Berenger about his apparent inability to wash their dishes properly.
Pettifleur corners Jack to explain how he needs to do a better job, because the smell of last night’s eggs in her porridge is making her sick.

“You need to actually scrub the pots,” she tells him. “I can smell the egg in my porridge from yesterday.”
To the camera, she explains her extremely powerful nose.
“You know I have a very, very sensitive nose. So I could smell the egg from the night before in the porridge.”

Jack explained in his own interview how he’s used to using a dishwasher back home.
“I had a dishwasher at home, I haven’t washed a dish in however long and I wouldn’t say that to someone who has been washing everyone’s dishes.”
Jess Eva is later seen laughing about it Paulini, “Poor Jack is on edge today,” she says.
“I think it’s because Pettifleur comes over and goes ‘I think I’ll wash the pots because they’re not washed properly,’” Paulini explains.
“That really p*ssed me off,” Jack vents to fellow contestants Toni Pearen, Grant Denyer and Colin Fassnidge. “I do it everyday which I’ve actually been loving with Paulini and it’s just like, really?”

To camera he vents some more: “You want to come up to me and gag and go, you haven’t done a good enough job. You can wash the dishes then!”
See how the rest of their argument plays out on I’m A Celeb tonight on Channel 10.
The heated chat comes a few episodes after Jack had a discussion with former AFL stars Travis Varcoe and Robert “Dipper” DiPierdomenico about homosexuality in sport.
“I probably know about 10 or 12 footy players, I’d never say their name, that are gay but they wouldn’t come out,” Vidgen said. “It would be a really hard thing to go through in that industry.”
Varcoe, who retired from AFL last year, said it was “sad” that no player has come out so far, adding, “We have so much acceptance in our game for everything.”
Earlier on I’m A Celeb, Vidgen opened up to Dipper about coming to terms with his sexuality.

“I kinda always knew that I was attracted to guys,” the 23-year-old said. “I feel like I probably would have been ready to come out a bit earlier, but probably cause just everything that happened (winning Australia’s Got Talent) and being known in the public … it wasn’t going to be like ‘tell a few friends’ coming out.”
Jack came out when he started dating a man when he was 19 years old.
“I think that gave me the courage because we both came out together to our families and friends,” he said. “I think that helps having someone else to do it with.
“It becomes something in your head that’s dirty and disturbed,” Jack said. “You think something’s perverted when it really isn’t; it’s the absolute opposite.”
He described coming out as “one of the most incredible feelings of my life”.
The conversation between the two I’m A Celeb contestants was praised on social media, with viewers commenting: “The conversation between Dipper and Jack, was so respectful and genuine. I’m really enjoying the interaction between most of the celebrities this year.”
I’m a Celeb continues tonight on Channel 10 at 7.30pm
