The past year really has done a number on us – with most of us sporting unruly hairstyles, less-toned physiques and a penchant for tracksuit pants thanks to lockdowns and COVID restrictions.
But throw into the mix the comfort of being in a long-term relationship and you’re faced with something very different – as this woman understands all too well.
In a video posted on TikTok by user Holly, the loved-up lass compares a snap of her boyfriend from before they started dating to now, The Sun reports.
She joked in the caption: “Let’s just say, he’s comfortable.”
And that’s something we can all relate to.
The first photo Holly shares shows her boyfriend looking super ripped and muscular in a shirtless photo posing poolside.

He’s also sporting a sun-kissed tan and perfectly styled hair.
“This my boyfriend a couple weeks before meeting me,” she writes in the clip and joked: “This is what I thought I was getting.”
She then flashes to a more recent photo of her man and he looks, well, far less polished.
While still trim and flashing a smile, his hair has grown out appearing more bushy than before and his beard is less manicured.
“This is my boyfriend a year-and-a-half later,” Holly wrote in the on-screen caption, adding: “This is what I got.”
The clip was ‘liked’ more than 7000 times with many sharing their thoughts in the comments.
While many appreciated the “banter” between the couple, others weren’t convinced.
One person commented: “He got comfy but if you break up best know he’s going back to the gym and getting anyone he wants.”
“Proof girls only strain your progress stay woke kings,” another added.
But another user wrote: “Calm down guys, it’s banter between them, you don’t need to go straddling him.”
