Colin Fassnidge has spilled on his past feuds with fellow celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Miguel Maestre.
In a scene from I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! that will air on Channel 10 tonight, Fassnidge said he used to “fight everybody” as he tried to make a name for himself as a chef.
“Me and Miguel didn’t get on, me and Manu didn’t get on,” he told camp mate Grant Denyer.
“I don’t know. We just never stopped fighting.”
Fassnidge explained that his feud with Feildel came to a head when he joined My Kitchen Rules in 2015.
“When I did MKR, they knew me and Manu didn’t get on because we’d had Twitter wars and all this sh*t,” he explained. “First day on set I was like, ‘oh f**k,’ it’s his baby, he’s the Daddy of the show.’ I walk on and they’re like, ‘This is the new guy,’ and he’s like, ‘f**k this.’”

Fassnidge said Feildel immediately pulled an “alpha” move and said to him: “Well buddy, welcome to my home. If there’s anything you need, I’ll tell you how to do it.”
Towards the end of the season of MKR, Fassnidge decided to try and put an end to the feud.
“I just went into his dressing room and said, ‘Mate, I apologise for whatever.’ And he’s like, that’s it, buried it,” Fassnidge said. “Same with Miguel.”
The three chefs have since become good friends.
“All the wives hang out, the kids hang out … we’re like, ‘Why did we waste so long getting to know each other?’” Fassnidge said.
HOW THE FEUD STARTED
In 2011, Feildel competed on and won Dancing with the Stars. But his decision to appear on the show was mocked by Fassnidge in an interview with The Sunday Telegraph.
“If you do these things it’s got to be on your own terms and not be (made to look) a fool, like making you wear a clown suit and dance around a studio,” Fassnidge said.
He continued: “Look, I don’t knock your man Manu but he’s not going to go back in the kitchen again … and that’s fine, he’s changed careers.
“He’s going to make a lot of money out of that, but don’t go back and say you’re a full-time chef.”
Speaking to news.com.au when Fassnidge joined MKR, Feildel said: “When I got told he (Fassnidge) was going to join the team (last year) I was a bit like, ‘Whoa’ … then I just said to myself, ‘Maybe it’s a sign, what the heck, we’re going to work together, let’s make the best of it.’
“Since we’ve worked together we realise we’ve got a lot in common … he’s a great guy and I’m happy things have changed between us because there’s no need to be like this (feuding),” he said in 2015.
I’m a Celeb continues tonight on Channel 10 at 7.30pm
