The identities of the four rioters who died in yesterday’s act of “domestic terrorism” in Washington DC have been released by authorities.
According to the DC. Police Department, the victims include Ashli Babbitt, 35, who was killed after being shot inside the Capitol building, and Rosanne Boyland, 34, Kevin Greeson, 55, and Benjamin Philips, 50, who all died from undisclosed “medical emergencies”.
So who were the four victims – and what were they doing at the Capitol?
ASHLI BABBITT
Californian Ashli Babbitt, 35, was the first to be identified after she was shot dead by Capitol Police.
Confronting footage of the moment the air force veteran was shot began circulating online almost immediately, with vision showing the woman, draped in a US flag, lying on the ground with blood on her face.

Ms Babbitt’s mother-in-law Robin Babbitt spoke of the family’s loss in an interview with the New York Post yesterday.
“I’m numb. I’m devastated. Nobody from D.C. notified my son and we found out on TV,” Robin Babbitt said, adding her son’s wife was “a Trump supporter”.
ROSANNE BOYLAND
Rosanne Boyland, 34, was the youngest of the three Trump supporters who died due to unspecified “medical emergencies”.
Ms Boyland was from Kennesaw, Georgia and was a graduate of North Cobb High School.
An unnamed sister of Ms Boyland told 11Alive reporter Paola Suro she was “a really happy, wonderful person”.
While the exact circumstances of her death have not yet been released, there are unconfirmed reports she was crushed during the siege.
Social media accounts believed to have belonged to Ms Boyland are flooded with conservative, pro-Trump and anti-Democrat propaganda and memes.
KEVIN GREESON
Kevin Greeson, a 55-year-old from Athens, Alabama, also died from a medical incident.
His wife Kristi Greeson told BuzzFeed News he died of a heart attack and had a “history of high blood pressure”.
She told the publication Mr Greeson was “not there to participate in violence or rioting”.
However, he was a frequent user of far-right social media platform Parler, and had been known to call for violence against those with differing political views.
“All males over the age of 18 join a group. Be ready to defend our country! Spend your money on guns and ammo … It’s time to stop this sh*t!!!!!” he wrote in a November post, according to BuzzFeed.

His son Kyler also confirmed the news on Facebook.
“My dad had a heart attack yesterday and sadly passed away. We all loved him so much. He made me the man I am today. Always going to car shows to support me and to enjoy the cars together. Him my brother and I would ride motorcycles together and have a great time. He was such a great man we all miss you so much. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers,” he wrote.
BENJAMIN PHILIPS
Benjamin Philips, 50, from Ringtown, Pennsylvania also died from a medical emergency.
According to local newspaper The Morning Call, Mr Phillips was a computer programmer who died of a stroke at the scene.
He was a fanatical Trump supporter, having founded the pro-Trump social media platform Trumparoo and organising transportation to the riots for a group of like-minded individuals from his community.
