A Current Affair reporter’s brutal response to creepy text

A female Channel 9 star’s brutal response to a creepy married man has been revealed.

This morning A Current Affair reporter Seb Costello was interviewed on Triple M’s Moonman in the Morning and he told a story about an inappropriate text one of his female colleagues received.

Costello explained that a “very well-known female journalist” who has a “very high-profile role within the (Nine) network” was doing a story on ACA about “this incredible husband and father who had done absolutely everything for his wife”.

“He was the best husband you could ever meet,” Costello explained about the man who was profiled in the story which aired around Christmas time. “He loved his kids, the report just had glowing reviews of him.

“Anyway, the story goes to air and a few hours later the journo gets a text from this wonderful father of the year candidate,” Costello continued. “The father of the year candidate said to the female journalist, ‘That was great. How about you and I catch up after hours.’”

The shocked Channel 9 star allegedly replied to the man’s text with a question mark, so the married man had another crack.

“He wrote, ‘It would be good to catch up off camera or on, if you’d prefer, LOL,’” Costello said on Triple M.

The A Current Affair journalist’s reply to the man was hilariously brutal.

“She finished this off by writing: ‘Having done the story, I have your wife’s number. Just let me check with her first,’” Costello explained.

“That was the end of that.”
