Anthony Mundine will fight Michael Zerafa on Saturday night in his first professional bout since 2019.
Mundine and Zerafa are competing for the WBA Oceania middleweight title in front of a sold-out crowd at Bendigo Stadium.
Both men lost their last fights — Mundine to John Wayne Parr in November 2019 and Zerafa to Jeff Horn in December of that year.
Mundine, 45, is coming out of retirement for the fight, hoping to add to his 48 professional wins.
Bookies are favouring Zerafa ($1.04), while Mundine ($9.50) sits at much longer odds.
The card features eight other bouts, the first of which will kick off at 6:30pm AEDT. Epicentre.tv’s coverage of the fight will begin at 5:30pm AEDT and can be ordered for $29.95.
It’s never an exact science in boxing, but Mundine and Zerafa are expected to walk into the ring at approximately 10pm.
