Anthony Mundine is stepping into the ring again on Saturday night when he fights Michael Zerafa in Bendigo.
The 45-year-old announced in December he would come out retirement for the bout, set to take place at Bendigo Stadium. The pair are contesting the WBA Oceania middleweight title in what will be both boxers’ first fight in over a year.
Both lost their last bout — Mundine to John Wayne Parr in November 2019 and Zerafa to Jeff Horn in December of that year. However, both are confident they can bounce back in front of a sold-out crowd.
